Prahran Mission would like to thank all those

who attended the launch of

our 17th Winter Breakfast Program:

“Breaking the Fast”

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but where do you get breakfast when you don’t have a home? How do you make a cup of tea when you don’t even have a bed to sleep in? The Winter Breakfast Program provides a hot and nutritious breakfast for free or at low cost to hundreds of disadvantaged members of our local community, for some of our customers this is their only hot meal of the day.

The Winter Breakfast Program is a part of Prahran Mission’s cafeteria program which serves over 25,000 meals annually.

The launch of this essential program was a great success. We heard the stories of special guest speakers as they openly shared their experiences of homelessness, mental illness and how Prahran Mission has assisted them.

Time: 7.30am –9.00am

Wednesday 28th May

Venue: Prahran Town Hall

Corner Greville and Chapel Streets Prahran

Cost: $40 per person, $350 per table of 10
